About us

Scotevents is a collaboration of complementary businesses who provide services in different areas of the events industry. Scotevents is a “not for profit” constituted organisation managed by a committee and funded through members fees and a grant from Visit Scotland.

Who are our members

Members are selected and vetted to ensure you receive the best event services Scotland has to offer. Our members are some of the most well established and best respected in the industry, providing you with the experience and expertise to manage your request. All members should satisfy the following guidelines:

  • Be proposed by an existing member
  • Be unanimously endorsed by the committee
  • Have a minimum of two years of industry experience
  • Be financially sound
  • Have a quality assurance scheme in place
  • Have adequate public liability insurance

Code of Practice

Our members are vetted for quality of service and aim to provide the highest standards promoting best practice within the membership.  To achieve this, a code of practice has been produced to which all members agree to operate:

  • Comply with appropriate legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Administer customers’ funds with diligence, complying with legal requirements.
  • Execute customer contracts with integrity and accuracy.
  • Observe client confidentiality.
  • Ensure Health & Safety regulatory requirements are fulfilled.
  • Provide appropriate insurance cover in relation to the service provided.
  • Promote the highest standards when delivering customer services.
  • Promote a collaborative culture within the membership.
  • Encourage business referral within the membership.

Become a member

To become a member of ScotEvents.com you must be an established event supplier based in Scotland and meet the joining criteria listed on this page. In addition, will limit the membership of organisations who compete in core services to a maximum of three.
